Zip.
That’s what I wrote: zip. Absolutely nothing. I was busy with other things during the day and in the evening I wanted to spend my time on other things as well.
Now I am seriously contemplating if I should continue the NaNoWriMo effort at all this year. I miss making my little books. Yesterday I made a witch and a sorcerer costume for the minions for school and although I was rushing it (so glad I’m not a perfectionist!) I was quite happy to be making something. My birthday party is coming up and I need to prepare stuff for that.
Also: I need to work.
I know. Bummer. Not so much because the work I do is quite worthwhile but still it would be nice to win the lottery and make mini-books for the rest of eternity.
Heck, I would finish NaNoWriMo without any trouble if that happened.
Right now, I don’t think so. I’ll keep it on the fence for a while but I am afraid it will fall off soon.
Or… keep going, but don’t worry so much about the word count? Finishing with 20, 30, or 40K is still a personal win if not a ‘win’ win, right? Suppose it depends on why you’re doing it!
